QUALIFICATIONS

    • Completed a pharmacy technician training program externship at Grady Health System with recommendation from Grady Health System preceptor
    • Completed a pharmacy technician cross training program at Grady Health System with recommendation from Grady Health System preceptor
    • Have one (1) year of experience at Grady Health System in a pharmacy
    • Have one (1) year of experience in a pharmacy outside of Grady Health System
  • Must be a Registered Technician with the State of Georgia by
  • Pharmacy Technician PTCB Certification preferred
  • Organization and accurate record keeping skills
  • Basic computer data entry skills required and typing approximately 30 wpm

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

We are actively hiring for an Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room.

 

 

  • Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA. 
  • Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care. 
  • Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care by implementing: 
  • Protecting the patient from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, laser, mechanical, and thermal sources. 
  • Demonstrating safe operation of equipment and machinery and following procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation. 
  • Performing accounting procedures to protect the patient from unintended retained surgical items. 
  • Speaking up with safety concerns acting as the patients advocate.   
  • Handling specimens according to facility policy and procedures. 
  • Adhering to standard precautions including the use of personal protective equipment. 
  • Communicating the patient’s current status to relevant parties throughout the continuum of care. 
  • Administering medications safely and correctly using the 8 rights of medication administration. 
  • Performing interventions to maintain the patient’s wound and tissue perfusion at or above baseline levels. 
  • Performing interventions to ensure the patient is at or returned to normothermia at the conclusion of the immediate postoperative period. 
  • Providing nursing and appropriate monitoring in accordance with policies and procedures. 
  • Performing interventions to protect the patient from surgical site infection. 
  • Assessing the knowledge level of the patient or designated support person. 
  • Providing education regarding the expected psychosocial response, nutritional management, medication management, pain management, wound management, and expected responses to the operative or invasive procedure. 
  • Involving the patient or designated support person actively in decisions affecting his or her perioperative plan of care and the rehabilitation process. 
  • Protecting the patient’s rights, dignity, and privacy. 
  • Providing age-specific, culturally competent, ethical care within legal standards of practice. 
  • Maintaining a fire safe environment. 
  • Practicing and monitoring aseptic technique. 
  • Complying with Universal Protocol and facility site validation and time-out policy. 
  • Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attaining outcomes. 
  • Transfer care as applicable.  
  • Maintain radiation safety at all times in accordance with facility policies and procedures. 
  • Provide hand-off report to other teammates that are accurate, concise and pertinent to the patient’s condition and response to care.  
  • Delegate tasks according to the state Nurse Practice Act (if applicable), state board of nursing or professional registration requirements, state laws, and job descriptions.  
  • Document episode of care accurately, timely, completely, and legibly. 
  • Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills with members of the perioperative team and other stakeholders. 
  • Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care. 
  • Participate in quality review and performance improvement projects. 
  • Participate in the performance appraisal process. 
  • Use problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to foster effective work relationships. 
  • Maintain required competencies. 
  • Pursue professional growth. 
  • Act as a patient advocate and maintain privacy and confidentiality of individuals and health information. 
  • Comply with all SCA and facility policies and procedures when providing patient care.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 
  • One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred. 
  • Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings. 
  • Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification. 
  • Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.   
  • Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification. 
  • Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Job Description



• The Regional Tier 2 / Deskside Support Technician will provide ongoing support to executives and employees across the enterprise for our customer end user staff in customer locations aroundAtlanta, GA. The scope of support activities required includes Deskside End User Support, IT Asset Management (ITAM) support (to surplus old equipment), Network Printer support, Surface Hub Support, plus Smarthands LAN Closet Support for users in your assigned region.



• In this role you will be a key member of the Tier 2 / Deskside Support Team that resolves, tracks, and manages escalated technical problems within ServiceNow as requested via phone, email and internet chat. As necessary you will also contribute to the knowledge base by creating or updating documentation describing issues encountered, their resolutions and work on the development of processes and documentation to improve the ability of the service desk to detect and resolve problems across HHS sites.

Responsibilities:

• Active Directory account management implementation and administration



• M365 use and/or administration



• Install, connect to the network, and maintain all computer hardware including PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, data collection devices, and telephones



• Install and maintain computer software on users’ devices such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, Antivirus, and Malware protection



• Conduct user training on approved software and hardware



• Provide incident response and client response coordination for hardware and other IT Operations related outages



• Contribute to continual service improvement by assisting with Standard Operations Procedures creation, maintenance and compliance

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:



• H.S. Diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience and advanced knowledge of networked environments, operating systems (Windows 10), PC and network hardware or an Associates and 3+ years of experience.



• Must have solid end user troubleshooting skills. Must be willing to work effectively within a team environment in a fast-paced support role. Must possess excellent communication skills, be dependable, outgoing and positive with excellent problem- solving skills.

Reporting to the Manager or Supervisor of the National Service Assurance Managed Services (SAMS) team, the CB Service Assurance Support Technician II is an integral part of a 24x7x365 operational environment.  He/she provides advanced, directly customer/vendor-facing technical expertise to pro-actively identify and address Cox Business (CB) customers’ technical issues, including fulfillment, system monitoring, incident handling, and issue resolution for complex services.  In addition, he/she will provide advanced support to internal Cox teams such as CB Customer Care, CB Field Services, and other CB teams as a point of escalation.

 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong history of technical support and customer communication experience in one or more of the following service segments: Networking Services (notably SD-WAN), managed services (notably Managed Router/Security and/or Managed Wi-Fi), and general support for complex services.  The incumbent will display expertise and advanced knowledge in the repair, restoration and future prevention of escalated issues by adhering to prescribed service level targets. 

 

The technician will engage with Cox’s Tier 1 customer facing teams, Tier 2 Network Operations Centers and Tier 3 and 4 Dev Ops and Engineering teams to ensure issue resolution, transaction reduction, and continuous improvement.  As required, he/she will compose technical documentation and Methods of Operations Procedures (MOPs).

 

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Ensures best-in-class customer experience for designated managed (or other) services.
  • Proactively engages CB customers when issues are identified and effectively drives to resolution.
  • Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves single customer escalations from internal Cox teams such as: CB Field Services, CB Customer Care, and business partners.
  • Drives the resolution of single customer/user issues, serving as a technical lead for troubleshooting and incident management.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves operational issues between customer/vendor equipment and CPE (Cox Premise Equipment).
  • Manages high profile/VIP internal and external customer escalations expeditiously.
  • Conducts product and services health checks, producing reports and escalating per process.
  • Performs service validations based on product, service, or application functionality and operational use.
  • Identifies and correlates patterns in user and customer reported issues, engaging appropriate fix agents to mitigate further impacts.
  • Identifies platform impacting issues and partners with Tier 3 support teams and development to implement and test fixes and resolutions.
  • Works with boundary partners to identify support requirements for troubleshooting and escalation for single user/customer support of new products, services and applications.

Provides each of the assigned patients with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the patient’s assessment and care plan, and as directed by the nurse supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

3. Assists patients in and out of bed and into wheelchair with the correct use of the transfer belt and practices proper body mechanics while moving/transferring patients

13. Provides for bowel and bladder training/retraining, provides colostomy care

14. Provides range of motion exercises for patients

15. Provides routine care for the bedfast patient; turns patient intermittently if patient is bedridden due to illness

16. Recognizes and reports signs/ symptoms of abuse and/or change in condition

17. Removes bedding and replaces with clean linens per schedule or condition

18. Takes vital signs of patient, e.g., temperature, blood pressure, and respiration and records information and documents/reports information regarding the patient’s health, I&O, any change of medical condition, and care given

The PRN Charge Nurse is responsible for the supervision of nursing personnel in order to ensure every patient receives the safest care with the highest quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the scheduling of patients with the Nurse Manager
  • Assists patient care staff as necessary in initiating, monitoring, and termination of dialysis treatments
  • Supervises initial and ongoing patient education; Review and document patient education as necessary to ensure compliance with ESRD Network, regulatory agencies, as well as DCI’s CQI Program and the individual clinic’s requirements
  • Obtains consent forms and reviews all information for the new patients before they begin initial treatments
  • Communicates patient problems to physician; implements and documents orders
  • Oversees monthly patient lab work in accordance with the clinic’s policies and procedures
  • Participates in patient care conferences, medical rounds, and reviewing charts

Qualifications

  • A Degree from an accredited Registered Nursing Program is required
  • Must be able to obtain a current nursing license in the state of Georgia
  • Six months experience in a dialysis is preferred
  • Experience in critical care nursing a plus

JOB SUMMARY

The Make Ready Technician is responsible for performing tasks and work necessary to make a home rent ready.  Make Ready Technicians are involved in all aspects of market-level construction and maintenance tasks, tracking, reporting and providing accurate records, scheduling and inspecting repairs and may be required to coordinate and manage third party repair vendors, etc. 
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ability to understand the basic workings of finish, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, flooring, appliance, landscaping and irrigation systems and perform work necessary to refurbish, prepare and make homes into a rent ready condition per the Company’s standard

  • Ability to track, monitor and inspect work assigned to third party vendors to ensure that homes move to rent ready status as quickly as possible 

  • Assist in creation and circulation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting by accurately reporting and recording activities

  • Ensure all punch list items are completed in homes

  • Complete property condition reports, inspections and cost estimates as needed

  • Assist the Leasing team with new resident move in orientations as needed

  • Ability to provide strong customer service to residents and vendors

  • Ensure all workplace safety standards and practices are upheld

  • Maintain fleet vehicle inventory within company guidelines

  • Follow fleet vehicle maintenance schedule and keep an organized and clean vehicle/workspace

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Valid and current Driver’s License in the work state

  • 3+ years of experience scoping residential homes or large multi-unit facilities

  • Experience as a senior maintenance/estimating position, superintendent, maintenance supervisor preferably in either multi-family, military or single family residential homes 

  • Ability to demonstrate basic workings of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, appliance, landscaping and irrigation systems 

  • Certifications in specific trades is a plus

  • Organizational skills, attention to detail & high-performance standards

  • Good communication skills (both oral & written)

  • Must be comfortable scheduling work directly with residents and vendors

  • Ability to work efficiently and to multi-task

  • An effective team player with a positive attitude

  • Ability to work weekends as necessary
