JOB SUMMARY:
The Mental Health Technician II (MHT) provides services to people who experience serious mental illness. Description

Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children under the clinical direction of a BCBA. The ABA Therapist will be responsible for skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the BCBA to deliver quality therapeutic services to each child.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily acquisition skills, maintenance, and mastered skills as directed by BCBA
  • Collect accurate data on a daily basis
  • Complete all data sheets, programming sheets, and progress notes daily
  • Follow behavior plan, individualized treatment plan, and reinforcement schedule as prescribed
  • Implement appropriate teaching strategies and behavior modification approaches
  • Complete all programing requests from BCBAs and Program Coordinators in a timely manner
  • Maintain organization of patient binder and ensure proper storage of binder at the end of each day.
  • Maintain cleanliness of center and ensure it looks presentable at all times
  • Adhere to policies and procedures of Hopebridge
  • Assist in providing a safe environment for all patients and staff

Position Purpose:
Perform duties to authorize and review utilization of mental health and substance abuse services provided in inpatient, outpatient and intermediate care settings, provide and/or review intakes and initial evaluations, brief focused treatment interventions, monitor quality of care, collect and analyze utilization and cost of care data, assist with discharge planning, arrange transportation; provide member assistance and participate in special utilization projects.
 

  • Authorize, direct and monitor care for mental health and substance abuse problems according to clinical information given by providers and internal criteria for medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
  • Ensure compliance with all performance measures in regards to appeals, denials, higher level of care admission certification and concurrent review timeliness, Outpatient Treatment Report review timeliness, readmissions, and others as indicated.
  • Interact with physicians and social workers for discharge planning.
  • Direct and coordinate follow-up to ensure plans for continuity of care and adherence to HEDIS standards.
  • Compile and report daily review activity and facility statistics.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, supporting network development and interfacing with treatment facilities and the professional community.
  • Verify subscriber eligibility and existing benefits for mental health and substance treatment, prior to authorizing all levels of treatment including concurrent outpatient.
  • Track benefit usage and advise appropriate parties of exhaustion of benefits.
  • Interact with Medical Director or designee to discuss clinical authorization questions and concerns regarding specific cases.

Education/Experience:

Summary:

Under close supervision, perform repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Typically perform work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine, and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Qualifications:

Education: High School or equivalent required.  May require a trade license.
Experience: 1 year of related experience preferred.  Related experience includes skill and knowledge of painting, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

The Registered Nurse RN) - Critical Care is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. Qualifications

  • National certification in area of specialty preferred 

Required Minimum Licensure/Certification:

  • Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia;

  • ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within six (6) months of employment.

Description

RESPONSIBLE FOR: The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care. *Must meet eligibilty requirements for sign on bonus #LI-POST #GD IND123

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of a nursing program MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: New Graduates of a nursing program eligible MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Bachelor's degree preferred. Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Participates in hourly rounding for outcomes using the AIDET technique.
  • Incorporates Caring Model behaviors and culturally competent care into daily practice.
  • Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork in managing patient flow-i.e. promotes timely patient placement by following hospital policy for patient admission, discharge and transfer.
  • Implements the identified plans for patients and unit specific process improvement with appropriate nursing interventions and physicians orders in an accurate, timely manner and documents intervention according to hospital policy. Documentation meets criteria for core measure, charges, PI improvement, and all quality/regulatory standards as measured by chart audits. Coordinates implementation of the plan of care through leadership and delegation appropriate to skill level including but not limited to: LPNs, NTs, CNAs, Unit Secretaries, RTs, PTs. Educates patient/family based on assessed learning needs.
  • Demonstrates safe practice in the administration of medications.

Job Description
The MinuteClinic Clinical Research Nurse Practitioner (NP) delivers patient care services in a retail clinic environment. Working with a dedicated team of professionals, the NP will serve as a Sub-Investigator clinician for the research site, ensuring all elements of the studies are completed in compliance with standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Perform all study responsibilities in compliance with the approved protocol
- Document all findings in subject specific source documents
- Perform physical examinations as part of screening evaluation and active study conduct
- Provide ongoing assessment of the study subject/patient to identify Adverse Events
- Provide medical management of adverse events as appropriate
- Communicate with Sponsors and auditors as requested
- Possess a working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines, Clinic SOPs, QA/QC procedures, and Investigator 1572 Form.
- Participate in on-call activities as required to ensure adequate medical coverage
- Delegate study responsibilities as appropriate to trained study staff
- Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to patient care inquiries
- Effectively work within a patient care team, including fellow Providers, Collaborative Physicians, para-professionals, Pharmacists and other members of the health care team

The Sub-Investigator may also perform all or some of the functions of the Principal Investigator and is responsible for performing study–related procedures and /or to make important study-related decisions in compliance with the ethical conduct of the study.

These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- General study coordination activities
- Review participant’s inclusion and exclusion criteria
- Collect medical history
- Physical exams
- Collect vitals: body temp, pulse oximetry, respirations, heart rate, etc.
- Specimen collections and diagnostic assays
- Facilitate patient surveys and questionnaires
- Patient education
- Patient scheduling
- Treatment administration

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
- Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously
- Proficiency with information management and technology
- Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues as necessary to provide quality care
- Ability to perform Basic Life Support (BLS) assistance, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Ability to take and pass a FIT test and wear the provided mask when necessary
- Dependent upon the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to but including Spanish may be required
