Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the CarePlus/ Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy in Atlanta, GA. If you are seeking to excel in a complex, high impact, customer service role, please apply!

As part of the Specialty Mail Order team, you will play a crucial role in helping others on the path to better health and your work will be directly affect the lives of others. Your responsibilities as a Pharmacy Technician include routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions and formulary changes. You will be working in a high production environment where you'll need to organize: shipping orders, refill reminders and overall inventory control. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team orientation, problem-solving abilities, strong written and oral communication, and strong computer skills.

Guaranteed 40 hours per week and we are open 7:30am- 7:30pm Monday - Friday. The schedule will not include weekends or holidays.

Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA.

Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty pharmacy experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish.

The Role?

Coca-Cola seeks a Production Tech who will operate a forklift for loading/unloading trucks; materials and product handling; physically lift up to55 lbs. You will conduct basic SAP and Data Pass computerized transactions.

General Activities:

  • Communicate with peers and others to exchange feedback on products/service issues, identify and/or solve problems, assess needs and or/achieve business results.
  • Identify activities not in accordance with company policies and procedures and inform appropriate parties.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation and retention of statistics in relation to execution against policies, procedures and standards.
  • Packs, protects, consolidates and arranges orders from warehouse stock, shelves according to written orders; transports, stacks and labels containers with appropriate identification; performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Individual contributor that performs under direct supervision the full range of established procedures and will typically be considered skilled through on-the-job experience; resolves routine issues without supervisory approval; this is an entry level position.

                               

The Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Perform production activities for equipment set-up, package filling and labeling, and records retention using the Coca-Cola Quality System Guidelines in order to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain the plant’s manufacturing equipment in satisfactory condition (eg, clean and sanitize tanks and pipe routings, maintain conveyor belts, hook up and load raw material delivery tankers, clean work areas) according to company GMP policies and procedures in order to assure the quality of the manufactured product.
  • Move raw materials and finished product (eg, syrup, concentrate, parts, point-of-sale) within the warehouse or other production facilities using forklifts or other warehouse equipment in order to supply production and/or facilitate shipping.
  • Inspect facility (eg, production, warehouse, service/installation) to assure adherence to safety and operating policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) using company policies and procedures.
  • Implement, evaluate, and maintain effective application of the Coca-Cola Quality System in order to ensure product quality as defined by company requirements.
  • Calculate production yields and scrap quantities in order to accurately record material usage variances.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • Experience: At least 3 years preferred
  • Available to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required. Have good attendance and punctuality.

Strives for independence and sound critical decision-making regarding the delivery of patient care in a cost-effective manner without compromising quality. Develops the patients Plan of care in collaboration with other professionals and implements treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory that promotes physical, psychosocial, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Familiar with the concepts and needs of patients / families who are facing death and dying issues. Effective communication skills, both verbally and written.

Essential Functions

  • Makes the initial nursing evaluation in determining eligibility for hospice services during visit within forty-eight (48) hours of referral.
  • Identifies the patient's/family's physical, psychosocial and environmental needs and re-assesses as needed, no less than every fifteen (15) days.
  • Initiates and coordinates the plan of care. Documents problems, appropriate goals, interventions and patient/family response to hospice care. Collaborates with the patient/family, attending physician and other members of the IDG in providing patient and family care on a daily basis.
  • Instructs and supervises the patient/family in self-care techniques when appropriate.
  • Maintains accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding the patient's condition. Reports patient condition and any identified needs/issues to Administrator on a daily basis.
  • Supervises and evaluates the home health aides/homemaker's ability to perform assigned duties every 14 days. Performs supervisory aide visits to the patient's residence every 14 days to assess whether goals are being met.
  • Performs supervisory visits with the aide present per state regulations.
  • Participates in LHC Connect and completes all required hospice assigned modules on-line on a monthly basis.
  • Participates in daily nursing report on patients to Administrator and provides all necessary documentation.
  • Performs 60 or 90 day record review (recertification's) as appropriate. Follows processes and regulations for admissions and recertification of hospice patients and reviews findings with Administrator.
  • Participates in Interdisciplinary Group Meeting (IDG) regarding patient care every 14 days.
  • Participates in the QAPI plan and process on a daily basis indentifying any problems to Administrator.
  • Compliance with procedures and processes of ordering/obtaining medications ordered by the physician and included in the patients Plan of care from Hospice Pharmacia. Assures compliance when possible of medication regime within the specified formulary.
  • Maintains up-to-date personnel file.
  • Performs LPN Supervisory visits as assigned by Administrator and in accordance with state regulations.
  • May fill-in as Alternate if Administrator is unavailable.
  • Functions as a preceptor to new hires.
  • Participates in on-call rotation.
  • Adheres to and participates in the Care Management process.

Education & Experience

Experience Requirements
  • One year of clinical experience.
 
License Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia
  • Current CPR Certification
