Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Duties include performing evaluations and providing treatment in schools or our out-patient pediatric therapy clinic.
PDS consists of a dedicated team of pediatric speech, occupational and physical therapists who work together in a positive and exciting atmosphere. We treat children of all ages with various conditions and deficits.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To direct and manage the day to day clinical operations of the rehab department. To provide clinical leadership within the rehab team. Responsible for coordinating the three rehab disciplines, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology therapy staff. To provide quality patient care. To maintain effective communications with Facility/Center staff, patients, families, and management. To monitor, enhance and expand the rehabilitation programs within the health care center.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.Oversees all services and operations of the rehab department to ensure that quality care is provided in all therapy disciplines. Participates as directed in healthcare centers Quality Assurance Program. Ability and willingness to achieve organizational and individual goals by seizing opportunities and learning from experience.

2.Attends or assures rehab department representation at healthcare center meetings as outlines in the SLA.

3.Oversight and/or completion of weekly, monthly, billing, response to Medicare Denials, Utilization Reviews and other required reports ensuring they are accurate and timely including developing PI plans and ensuring follow through on PI plans.

4.Provides recommendations to Regional Rehab Director for new hires, promotions, termination, equipment etc.

5.Participates in marketing activities as approved by the Regional Rehab Director adhering to the SLA, to physicians, hospitals, discharge planners and other community organizations.

6.Completes Evaluations, Assessments, and treatments accurately, including all documentation/records, according to policy and the individualized care plan in a timely and accurate manner.

7.Follows established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice. Recognizing and responding to priorities in patient care by showing initiative and sound judgment.

8.Demonstrates willingness to adapt to change in workload and assists with training/orienting others.

9.Provides a clean, safe environment with well-stocked supplies and functioning equipment. Has current knowledge of proper equipment usage.

Skills and Qualifications:
• 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines

    The role of Spa Therapist

    4. Performs full Room Attendant duties in occupied rooms and late check-out rooms when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient 
  • Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
  • Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
  • Assist the patient with the activities of daily living while teaching appropriate self-care techniques
  • Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient
  • Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations
  • Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
  • Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition
 
Qualifications
  • 1 year experience as an LPN in a home care setting
  • Current state license as an LPN 
  • Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing
  • Proof of current CPR certification
  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally

Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the CarePlus/ Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy in Atlanta, GA. If you are seeking to excel in a complex, high impact, customer service role, please apply!

As part of the Specialty Mail Order team, you will play a crucial role in helping others on the path to better health and your work will be directly affect the lives of others. Your responsibilities as a Pharmacy Technician include routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions and formulary changes. You will be working in a high production environment where you'll need to multi task between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team orientation, problem-solving abilities, strong written and oral communication, and strong computer skills.

Guaranteed 40 hours per week and we are open 8:00am- 7:30pm Monday - Friday. The schedule will not include weekends or holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating

  • Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
