The Charge Nurse (RN) is responsible for directing and overseeing the daily activities of the unit on an assigned shift to assure successful safe delivery of care. The Charge Nurse is a caregiver and often takes modified patient care assignment. Qualifications


Required Minimum Education 

  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing as and Associate Degree/Diploma Nurse; Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred.

Required Minimum Licensure/Certification

  • Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia;
  • Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment in position. National certification in area of specialty preferred. (Dependent on area of Service may require additional certification such as ACLS, PALS.)

Required Minimum Experience

  •  One year of nursing experience required, two years preferred. Experience as relief charge with clinical expertise preferred.

  • Sterile preparation of IV / infused medications under the direction of the pharmacist and in compliance with current regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrates understanding of USP 797 standards and current State Board of Pharmacy (BOP) regulations.

The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for initial patient contact following the physician consultation. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for the full coordination of all prescreening requirements for Third Party cycles up to the point where treatment is initiated. Once the physician has determined the treatment plan for the patient, the Patient Care Coordinator will be the primary contact for the patient and ensure all pre-screening documentation, testing, and consults are completed. The Patient Care Coordinator will work closely with administrative, genetics and Third Party clinical staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer/return patient calls and portal messages and answer questions or forward, as appropriate.
  • Schedule all appointments for blood work, semen analysis, FDA exams, uterine evaluations, genetic counseling, nurse consults.
  • Act as a liaison with the business office as needed, creating greater awareness of special circumstances dependent upon insurance.
  • Obtain proper consents for all treatment.
  • Maintain documentation between physician consult and start of treatment cycles for administrative tracking purposes.
  • Maintain patient’s records, charts and pertinent information.
  • Manage prescreening checklist maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred or comparable experience in reproductive medicine
  • Medical office experience preferred.
  • Third Party Reproduction experience preferred, but not required.
  • Customer Service Driven
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective organizational, communication and computer skills are a must.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Endoscopy Tech, under the direction of a GI/Endoscopy Nurse, you will contribute to the company’s mission and vision by assisting with the care of patients undergoing GI/Endoscopy procedures.

What you will do in this role:

    • Maintain a sanitary environment for your patient
    • You will demonstrate knowledge of high disinfection and sterilization of endoscopy equipment
    • You will prepare the endoscopy unit adequately and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies
    • You will clean GI treatment rooms between procedures and prepare rooms for the next case
    • You will assist in the maintenance, care and labeling of specimens
    • You will identify specimen with the surgeon and pass to the circulating RN

    Qualifications you will need:

    ·Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred

    ·One year acute care experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within a patient care unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities.
