Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works in our team-based care environment. We are a value based care provider focused on quality of care for the patients we serve. Required Qualifications:
Minimum of two to five years directly applicable experience preferred
Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program with Board Certification

The Position
As an Oral Surgeon with DWPG, you will have 100% clinical autonomy and are encouraged to keep abreast of the latest developments to ensure that patients receive the best treatment possible. Your responsibilities will include consulting with patients, discussing treatment options, treating patients, overseeing aftercare, and coordinating with other specialists, when necessary.
This is a part-time position, working two days a week at our specialty center starting in November.

- Collaborating with other specialists, such as restorative dentists and orthodontists, to plan treatments
- Recording patient care by maintaining detailed notes

- Treating infections of the oral cavity, salivary glands, jaw, face, and neck
- Providing emergency treatment of orofacial injuries including facial lacerations, interoral lacerations, and fractured facial bones

- Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care
- Conducting research on defects, diseases, and disorders affecting the oral and/orfacial regions
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from a CODA and/or ADA accredited school
- Licensed to practice as an Oral Surgeon in the state of Georgia
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as an Oral Surgeon

Our Direct Primary Care clinic has an immediate opportunity for a registered nurse to provide full-time care (40 hours per week) in a direct primary care (DPC) setting located in Austell, GA. Our goal is to provide our patients with quality and personal primary care. DPC allows medical providers along with their care teams the ability to spend quality time with a patient to create a rewarding and comprehensive healthcare experience, for not only the patient, but also the medical provider. While DPC provides acute care, our goal is to manage and prevent chronic conditions to decrease health care costs and improve the overall health of our patients. We do this by providing exceptional patient care through knowledgeable medical providers in a relaxed and tranquil office environment.
This clinic is staffed by a primary care physician and a registered nurse who serve clinic patients with concierge primary care. These patients are employees of local companies that have chosen to provide their employees with access to this DPC clinic as an additional health benefit. What to expect: Work in a DPC environment; spend more time with patients in a more relaxed atmosphere. No health claims are generated in this clinic. You will be the voice of the clinic when members call for health advice and/or scheduling appointments.
Your role is to have exceptional customer service with a welcoming demeanor and friendly disposition. 60% Administration: Answer phones, inventory management, order/office supplies, communicate with patients and clients, outbound calls to schedule annual physicals, stocking/organizing exam rooms, completing transactions for members with a high deductible health plan. 40% Clinical: Phlebotomy, vaccinations/injections, EKG, ear irrigation, patient workups, vital signs, care coordination, lab result reviews, patient education, referrals, prior authorizations for medications/radiology. You will also provide medical advice to patients at physician's direction, monitor situations requiring physician follow-up, and maintain associated diagnostic equipment
All member encounters will be documented in our EHR, our electronic health record. EHR will provide access to integrated medical claims, Rx data, labs/screenings, and self-reported personal health information
What you'll bring:
- Graduate of a state approved school of nursing (required)
- Degree in nursing studies, RN required, BSN preferred
- Current GA nursing license and CPR certification, (required)
- Phlebotomy, recent experience (required)
- Minimum 5 years nursing experience within a primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine environment, preferred
