THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD
The Registered Nurse will support the CDC COVID-19 response teams to provide assessment which includes the collection of specimens of up to 35 nursing home residents in one to three days, at monthly intervals, in multiple locations in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

- Perform nasal swabs to collect samples
- Perform blood drawls to collect samples
- Work with the CDC COVID response team to document sample collections
- Report on sample collections and produce final report at the end of the project.

Qualifications

- Homehealth and/or geriatric nursing experience preferred
- Submit a negative COVID-19 test result taken within the past 72 hours as part of the medical clearance for each deployment (core and intense phase).

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
