Essential Functions

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by the state laws governing the practice of nursing, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team. May not alter the plan of care.
• As assigned, visits patient and provides nursing care according to plan of care.
• Participates in the in-service program according to LHC policy.
• Completes a progress note for each visit, and submits progress notes to the agency daily.
• Participates in the QA/QI plan and process.
• Continually observes and reports the patients nursing needs. Instructs the patients family in the care of the patient and maintenance of a healthy environment for the patient.
• Observes, records, and reports to the supervising nurse and/or physician the patient's response to treatment and changes inthe patient's condition.
• Adheres to and participates in the Care Management process.
• Participates in staff conference regarding patient care.

This is the key to engagement. We optimize workloads effectively, reducing inefficiencies, and consistently exceeding expectations through service excellence to our clinicians. As a Critical Care APP you can expect to:

• Independently assess, examine and provide care to critically ill patients in the ICU to include procedures such as central lines, intubations, arterial lines, and chest tubes
• Manage medical, surgical, cardiac and neuro patients (LVAD, ECMO, TAVR, etc)
• Actively present and participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds in the ICU
• Work autonomously and multitask within the critical care team

• Current, unrestricted license in GA and active BLS/ACLS certification

Piedmont Atlanta's Cardiac Surgery Step-down is a 48 bed unit consisting of post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients (heart transplants, CABGs, MV repair, Robotic etc.) and left ventricular assist device (LVAD) patients. We have a high volume of chest tube management, IV drips, external pacers, and post-op cardiac education.  Our RNs work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and inclusive setting. Description

Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children under the clinical direction of a BCBA. The ABA Therapist will be responsible for skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the BCBA to deliver quality therapeutic services to each child.

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily acquisition skills, maintenance, and mastered skills as directed by BCBA
• Collect accurate data on a daily basis
• Complete all data sheets, programming sheets, and progress notes daily
• Follow behavior plan, individualized treatment plan, and reinforcement schedule as prescribed
• Implement appropriate teaching strategies and behavior modification approaches
• Complete all programing requests from BCBAs and Program Coordinators in a timely manner
• Maintain organization of patient binder and ensure proper storage of binder at the end of each day.
