Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the CarePlus/ Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy in Atlanta, GA. If you are seeking to excel in a complex, high impact, customer service role, please apply!
As part of the Specialty Mail Order team, you will play a crucial role in helping others on the path to better health and your work will be directly affect the lives of others. Your responsibilities as a Pharmacy Technician include routing questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, making outbound calls/faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions and formulary changes. You will be working in a high production environment where you'll need to multi task between patient referrals while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team orientation, problem-solving abilities, strong written and oral communication, and strong computer skills.
Guaranteed 40 hours per week and we are open 8:00am- 7:30pm Monday - Friday. The schedule will not include weekends or holidays.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision insurance as well as a wide-ranging list of supplemental benefits and discount programs. In addition to sixteen paid days off for employees, we also offer ten paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty pharmacy experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- Prescription adjudication experience in order to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
Education
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
