Dental Whale Practice Group (DWPG) - is looking for motivated and skilled Dental Assistants with expanded functions certification to join our talented Atlanta Area Temp/Local Travel Team, as we strive to provide exemplary, personalized dental care in a friendly, relaxing environment at an excellent value. The Position

As a member of DWPG's Atlanta AreaDental Assistant Temp/Local Travel Team, you will have the support you need to grow your career with team members who enjoy what they do - and who they work with! We are committed to promoting from within with excellent compensation.

We work diligently to ensure all our patients and staff feel safe and protected while in our office. We have all proper PPE for staff and are CDC COVID-19 compliant.

Key Responsibilities

Prepares treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols Prepares patients for dental treatment Provides information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area Provides diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies; pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts Fabricates restorations; cleans and polishes removable appliances Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification Educates patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions Documents dental care services by charting in patient records Maintains patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols

Qualifications

Ability to travel between multiple Atlanta Area practice locations required Successful completion of dental assistant certification program Expanded Functions Certification required 1+ years of general practice experience Possess active state x-ray certification Cerec experience desired Exceptional patient care skills Excellent computer skills
