JOB PURPOSE:
PruittHealth home infusion pharmacy is looking for a positive, assertive, proactive BS RN to provide assessment, administration of medication and education.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide infusion pharmacy services in patient homes, hospital or MD offices in the Atlanta area.
- Contribute to infusion pharmacy operations and visits to home health offices to provide training as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- The role requires excellent IV skills with all types of IV lines and an exposure to infusion medications.
- Patient care Pediatrics through Geriatric age groups
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in nursing -BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
RN - Licensure as Registered Nurse
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)
Certification with Infusion Nursing Society preferred.
5 years of experience in nursing with a concentration in infusion
Travel Requirements/ Travel Policy:
Travel expectation 80% - patient homes
Traveler’s Travel Policy – No overnight travel
