Responsibilities

Our TRAVEL WEST (Wellstar Enterprise Support Team) is our internal travel team of nursing professionals, who support various hospitals within the organization. We are seeking experienced, high-performance, professional nurses to join our team!!!

TRAVEL WEST Certified Wound Care Nurses are given the opportunity for flexible self-scheduling while working in an assigned region of 3 facilities. We currently have Full-Time available!!!

We have 11 hospitals and our Float Team is required to float to a specific region listed below: 

Region 1 North: Kennestone, Cobb, and Paulding Hospitals

Region 2 North: Kennestone, Cobb, and North Fulton or Windy Hill Hospitals

Region 3 Central: Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta Medical Center South, and Douglas Hospitals

Region 4 South: Atlanta Medical Center South, Spalding, and Sylvan Grove Hospitals

Region 5 South: Spalding, Sylvan Grove, and West Georgia Medical Center

RNs are supported by an engaged and caring leadership team. Qualifications

Required Minimum Education:

• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing:
  
  
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred; National certification in area of specialty preferred;
  
  
• Nursing education from an accredited school of wound, ostomy, and continence nursing (WOCN) program and national certification in clinical specialty area preferred.
  
  
• When performing duties in outpatient wound care with hyperbaric unit, national certification in the specialty area of Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (CHRN) by the National Board of Diving & Hyperbaric Medical Technology is preferred

Required Minimum Licensure/Certification:

• Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia;
• Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association on the first day of employment in position.

Required Minimum Experience:

• Minimum three (2) years, current experience in specified area of practice.
