Overview: Responsible for daily preparation and execution of all activities regarding glassware requirements in support of client's program in Atlanta, GA.

Description of Duties:

Process glassware to include:

1. Pick up dirty glassware.
2. Presoak as required.
3. Wash glassware manually or mechanically.
4. Inspect and rewash if necessary.
5. Prepare for sterilization.
6. Inventory, sort and store according to location.
7. Deliver to designated laboratories, and document performance of duties.

Perform stockroom duties to include:

1. Manage inventories of stockroom supplies.
2. Place supplies in designated locations as needed.
3. Receive supplies and check for accuracy.

Perform laundry duties include:

1. Pick up of soiled laboratory garments daily.
2. Wash, dry, fold and distribute clean garments to designated locations.

Perform environmental monitoring on glassware equipment and maintain appropriate logs.

Perform housekeeping duties of glassware area.

Communicate clearly and effectively with all contract and client staff.

Perform duties in adherence with established SOP's.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred experience in a laboratory setting. Ability to maintain written and computer-based logs.
